Day 1 Travel Day / Denver (D)
Escape from the cold to a much warmer climate
– the Great Southwest. Travel to Denver
and enjoy a “Get Acquainted” dinner with your
new travel friends.
Day 2 Santa Fe Tour (CB)
Santa Fe, New Mexico is in our path today. Voted
as the fifth most popular travel city by “Travel &
Leisure Magazine,” we will also see the beauty in
this city. A walking tour with an expert local guide
will tell us about the history and culture of Santa
Fe. We will hear the story of the miracle staircase
at the Loretto Chapel. Overnight in Santa Fe.
Day 3 Eagle Ranch Pistachio Farm / White
Sands National Monument (CB, L)
Depart Santa Fe today toward Alamogordo, New
Mexico. A tour of the Eagle Ranch Pistachio Farm
will show us why this area grows the best pistachios.
Then travel to the White Sands National
Monument. A step on ranger guide will provide
us with a close up look at the pristine white sand
dunes. Overnight in Las Cruces, New Mexico.
Day 4 Old Mesilla Plaza / Farm and Ranch
Heritage Museum / Tombstone (CB, D)
Today discover Las Cruces and its interesting history.
A colorful local guide will guide us through
Old Mesilla Plaza. The Farm and Ranch Heritage
Museum tells us of this valley’s agriculture. On to
Tombstone – the town that was dubbed “the town
too tough to die.” Dinner tonight is a Chuck Wagon
Dinner and entertainment at the Tombstone
Livery. Overnight in Tombstone for two nights.
Day 5 Tombstone Tour / Stage Coach Ride (CB, D)
We spend the day discovering Tombstone. Walk
the very same streets that Doc Holliday, Wyatt
Earp and a host of other Western Legends walked
over 125 years ago. Take in a shootout at the OK
Corral. Discover Tombstone on your own today or

Day 6 Mission San Xavier del Bac / Pima Air
Museum / Sabino Canyon / Pinnacle Peak Cowboy Steak House (CB, D)
Tucson welcomes us as we visit the Mission San
Xavier Del Bac, a1692 historical Catholic mission.
Pima Air and Space Museum is one of the largest
air and space museums in the world. Visit Sabino
Canyon by trolley and experience a natural desert
oasis in the Coronado National Forest. Tonight enjoy
dinner at a historical movie set-Trail Dust Town. Be entertained
with a stunt show and eat at the Pinnacle Peak Cowboy Steak House. Overnight in Tucson.
Day 7 Mesa Flea Market / Desert Belle Cruise (CB)
The giant Saguaro cacti, the universal symbol of
the Old West surround you as you travel today.
We head north towards Mesa, Arizona to visit the
Mesa Market Flea Markets. Enjoy 1 1/4 miles of
covered shopping lanes, 1600 booth spaces, in the
land of the Superstition Mountains. The Desert
Belle cruise on Saguaro Lake will take us on
secluded waterways through canyons and a view
of the Superstition Mountains. Overnight in the
Mesa area for two nights.
Day 8 Phoenix City Tour / Desert Botanical
Garden / Organ Stop Pizza (CB, D)
This morning, take a city tour of the Phoenix /
Scottsdale metropolitan area highlighting the
historic, geologic and cultural features of the
city. Then, pick your own oranges at a “u-pick”
orange grove, before visiting the Desert Botanical
Garden, located in beautiful Papago Park; a wonderful
way to experience the beauty of the desert
without leaving Phoenix.
Day 9 Sedona / Trolley Tour / Grand Canyon (CB, D)
Spectacular Sedona beckons with its massive
fire-red buttes and mesas. Browse the fascinating
shops and respected galleries before experiencing
the narrated trolley tour of this beautiful area.
Overnight at the Grand Canyon.
Day 10 Grand Canyon / Cortez, CO (B, L)
Today, travel to the canyon of all canyons - the
Grand Canyon, one of the Seven Wonders of the
World. Peek over the South Rim of the majestic
Grand Canyon and explore the many lookouts
nearby. Overnight in Cortez, CO.
Day 11 Wolf Creek Pass / San Juan Mountains / Colorado Springs, CO (CB)
Drive across Colorado today to Pagosa Springs,
known for their therapeutic mineral springs.
Travel over Wolf Creek Pass through the San
Juan Mountains while stopping at overlooks and
vistas to see the majestic snow-capped peaks of
the Colorado Rocky Mountains. Overnight in
Colorado Springs, CO.
Day 12 US Olympic Complex /Garden of the
Gods/Denver (CB, L)
Take a guided tour of the US Olympic Complex
including the U.S. Olympic Hall of Fame,
interactive displays and an endless collection of
Olympic photos. Drive through Garden of the
Gods and stop at the visitor center to hear the
story behind the red rock gardens.
Day 13 Travel Home (CB, L)
Travel home as you reminisce about the fun times
– out of the cold.
