Day 1 Travel Day

Day 2 Nashville / Travel Day (CB, D)
Today, continue on your journey to Nashville and the beautiful Opryland Hotel. Here you’ll ride the famous Delta River Flatboats inside the hotel! Enjoy dinner with your fellow travel mates en route to your hotel.

Day 3 Travel to Savannah (CB, D)
Enjoy a deluxe continental breakfast before heading toward beautiful Savannah, Georgia. Have dinner before you check into your Savannah area hotel and rest up for an exciting day tomorrow!

Day 4 Savannah Tour (CB, D)
This morning you will have a guided tour of genteel, beautiful and historic Savannah, the “Belle of Georgia.” You’ll see architectural marvels, beautiful oak-lined streets and lovely “town squares.” Enjoy free time on historic River Street with its unique 18th century “ballast stone” streets and 19th century cotton warehouses, now home to fine eateries, museums, unusual shops and antique galleries. Later tour one of Savannah’s historic homes.

Day 5 Jekyll Island / St. Simons Island (CB, D)
Start your day by departing for the fascinating and history-rich Jekyll Island. See how the nation’s wealthiest citizens like J.P. Morgan and William Rockefeller lived and played — including a stop at what was once the exclusive “Millionaires

Club.” Later, take a guided tour of St. Simons Island where you can take a stroll among moss-draped oaks or shop at the interesting boutiques and specialty shops in the historic area. This evening, enjoy dinner and return to your hotel to rest up for your next fun-filled day.

Day 6 Charleston (CB, D)
Today, enjoy a guided tour of magnificent Charleston, SC. See the old historic district, Washington Park, and the memorial market. View the lovely homes along the battery, 18th century Rainbow Row, the Citadel, and more. Next visit Magnolia Plantation and Gardens with 60 acres of formal gardens. 250 varieties of azaleas, 900 types of camellias, and hundreds of other flowering plants.

Day 7 Travel Day (CB, D)
Today, leave beautiful Savannah with fond memories of your visit. Make a stop at the Jimmy Carter Presidential Museum & Library in Atlanta. You’ll be pleasantly surprised by the beautiful facility and interesting artifacts.

Day 8 Travel / St. Louis (CB)
Today, head toward the Gateway of the West – St. Louis. Upon arrival, visit the world famous Archway Monument, which has become the worldwide symbol of the city of St. Louis, Missouri.

Day 9 Travel Home (CB)
Travel home with memories of a great trip to Dixie.
