Day 1 Travel Day / Cheyenne, WY (D) We’re bound for the breathtaking scenery of the Pacific Northwest! We’ll learn more about our fellow travelers at our Get Acquainted Dinner this evening. Overnight in Cheyenne, WY.
Day 2 Jackson, Wyoming (B)
The Grand Teton Mountains form the background
at our overnight stay in charming Jackson,
WY. An evening option is dinner and a
wild west show at the Bar-T-Five Chuck Wagon
Cookout OR a float trip on the Snake River.
Either option is an additional cost. Please make
your preference when registering for the tour.
Day 3 Twin Falls, Idaho (CB, D)
We travel through the majestic Sawtooth
Mountains of Idaho and marvel at the Shoshone
Falls, called “the Niagara of the West.”

Day 4 Baker City / Pendleton, OR (CB)
At the National Historic Oregon Trail Interpretive
Center at Baker City, OR, we’ll take an
in-depth look at the hardships endured along
the Oregon Trail. We then follow the Oregon
Trail to our overnight in Pendleton, OR.
Day 5 Portland / Clackamus, OR (CB)
Today we drive along the Columbia River
Gorge. A visit to the Bonneville Dam which
spans the river will tell us about the role it
plays in controlling the Columbia River. Multnomah
Falls is on our way to Portland. Vista
House, a tribute to Oregon’s pioneers overlooks
the west end of the Columbia. Experience the
splendid view of the city of Portland, Oregon
while visiting the International Rose Test
Gardens in Washington Park. Overnight in
Clackamus, OR.
Day 6 Tillicum Village / Blake Island (B, D)
We venture to the Mt. Saint Helen’s National
Volcanic Monument Visitor Center. See dramatic
views of the volcanic crater and displays
revealing mysteries of this famous unpredictable
mountain. Tonight we are treated to the
popular Tillicum Village Cruise and Salmon
Dinner on Blake Island. We overnight near
Seattle for 3 nights.
Day 7 Seattle, WA (CB, D)
A guided city tour of Seattle shows us Seattle
up close, including the Space Needle and a visit
to Pikes Place Market. A tour of the Boeing
Airline Manufacturing Plant lets us see up close
how airplanes are built.
Day 8 Seattle, WA (CB)
Today is a day of options. Option #1: Take
a Victoria Clipper ferry ride through the
San Juan Islands to Victoria, British Columbia.
This option includes, boat ride, tour of
Victoria and beautiful Butchart Gardens and
free time in Victoria. Includes 2 meals (Passport
Required) Option #2: Whale watching
through the San Juan Islands includes historic
Friday Harbor. Includes 2 meals. Option #3:
Experience Mount Ranier up close! Linger at
several scenic lookout points and gaze at the
natural wonders – crashing waterfalls, diverse
plant life, and the snowcapped summit on our
way to Paradise Lodge. Either option is an
additional cost. Please make your preference
when booking this tour.
Day 9 Leavenworth / Spokane, WA (CB)
Journey east into the Cascade Mountains to
central Washington, where we visit the Bavarian
village of Leavenworth to experience some of its
Old World warmth and charm. Marvel at the
many orchards along the way. We travel on to
the Spokane, Washington area for our overnight.
Day 10 Wallace, ID (CB, D)
Step into history as we travel to Wallace, ID.
Our local step on guide will delight you with stories
of yesteryear during Wallace’s silver mining
days. This evening we’ll participate in the 6th St.
Melodrama. Our overnight is in Wallace, ID.
Day 11 Missoula / Billings, MT (B)
Montana’s Big Sky Country welcomes us. At
the Smokejumpers Base Aerial Fire Depot in
Missoula, we learn firsthand accounts of firefighting
and smoke jumping. We continue to
Billings, MT for overnight.
Day 12 Deadwood / Keystone, SD (CB, D)
Reflect on the last great Indian victory at the
Little Bighorn National Monument before we
travel to the Black Hills of South Dakota. Tour
a Black Hills Gold factory followed by dinner
with your travel mates at one of Keystone’s
fine restaurants. Top off the day with a visit
to Mount Rushmore for the evening lighting
ceremony. Overnight in Keystone, SD.
Day 13 Travel home (CB)
Great memories of our Pacific Northwest trip
will linger as we head home.
