Witness Nebraska’s Central Platte River Valley come to life with the spectacular sights and sounds of thousands of migrating cranes — the largest such gathering of cranes in the world. See this spectacle from a nature “blind” as you watch these majestic birds come to roost in the river. It is an incomparable experience that many visitors travel thousands of miles to see each spring!

You’ll also visit the “Wings Over the Platte” art show at the Stuhr Museum, as well as enjoy a driving tour with an expert naturalist guide.

This tour requires walking on uneven ground to the blind for crane viewing. It will be dark upon departure. Dress warmly (in layers) as it will become cool as the evening progresses. There are no restrooms available in the blinds.
