Day 1 Travel Day (D)
It’s time to journey north to the beautiful Canadian Rockies! A time change to Mountain Time gives us time to drive thru the South Dakota Badlands. A casual dinner and comfortable hotel await us in Rapid City, SD.

Day 2 Devils Tower / Little Big Horn National Monument (CB, D)
We cross into Wyoming this morning for a visit to Devils Tower, where we see the Circle of Sacred Smoke Sculpture and exhibits at the Visitor Center. Western history comes to life at the Little Big Horn Battlefield National Monument. A light dinner is included at the Trading Post Café before we journey on to Billings for overnight.

Day 3 Lewis & Clark Interpretive Center (CB)
Our travel takes us north thru Lewis & Clark National Forest to Great Falls. We arrive in time to visit the Lewis & Clark Interpretive Center where we learn about the vision, challenges and daily life of this historic expedition.

Day 4 Calgary Stampede / Grandstand Show (CB, D)
Continuing north, we cross the border into Canada. PASSPORT REQUIRED. Our mid-afternoon arrival into Calgary gives us time to check in to our hotel before visiting the Calgary Stampede for the Chuckwagon Races and Grandstand Show featuring the Young Canadians. We begin with a buffet dinner featuring Alberta Beef. If you have not seen Chuckwagon Races before, get ready for a fun, truly western experience. The races are a favorite for Alberta natives and are a culmination of summer-long of racing. The Stampede has the largest payout of all the competitions: over $1.15 million in prize money. The 2012 Grandstand Show will showcase amazing local and international talent of dancers, singers and more!

Day 5 Calgary Tower / Heritage Park / Banff Gondola to Sulphur Mountain (B)
We begin our day in Calgary with a ride to the top of Calgary Tower for spectacular views of the city. Enjoy a stop at Heritage Park: Canada’s largest living history museum. On the Historic Village Tour, we step back in time to the days of the Pioneers. Be sure to stop in the Gasoline Alley Museum to see the vintage cars and old gasoline pumps. This afternoon we
