Day One: Travel Day / St. Louis (D)

Day Two: National Civil Rights Museum / Peabody Ducks Procession (B, D)
This morning, make your way to Memphis, city of the Blues and the King of Rock and Roll. Upon arrival early this afternoon, visit the National Civil Rights Museum where the many interpretive exhibits tell the key events in the Civil Rights Movement from the early days of slavery to the present.

The Museum is housed in the Lorraine Motel where Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. was assassinated. You'll find this a fascinating and informative stop. Then, head over to the Peabody Hotel for the famous duck procession. Since 1933, the Peabody Ducks have been a tradition of the hotel when every morning and evening they leave and return to their penthouse accommodations, escorted by the Peabody duckmaster. Just wait until you see them. It will be a hoot, excuse us – a quack!

Merry Christmas
